Flax short fibers

As Flax is natural, renewable and biodegradable plant, the use of its fibers guarantees ultimate protection of the environment. These ecological benefits along with the strength and light weight of fibers make them perfect option for Today's technical innovations and composites applications. Our short flax fibers are exported to various markets all over the world to be used in different applications; to name but a few:

  • Eco-building insulation foams
  • Paper industry
  • Automotive industry

Flax machine tow

- The short fibers resulted from the hackling process of scutched long fibers.
- These fibers are shorter than the normal flax fibers and containing higher percentage of shives.
- We make the best use of them in the spinning preparation of course count yarns up to Nm 5.
- We supply flax machine tow in pressed bales of 200kg to our customers who use these fibers in turn for automotive industry and other applications.

Cleaned flax tow

It's the shortest fiber in our range (5:10 cm), resulted as a waste of the hackling process. It's then got into consecutive cleaning processes to reach its final appearnce as cleaned fiber with shives percentage less than %10.
We supply these fibers in pressed bales of 200kg to be used in various applications such as fire retardant insulation foams and paper industries.

Flax rescutched tow (Arrous)

- They are short fibers with higher percentage of shives than machine tow and used for the spinning of coarser range of yarns (up to Nm 2) after some cleaning & drafting processes.
- They are also used for different applications such as Automotive and insulation industries.
- We supply these fibers pressed in 200kg bales.

Flax waste

It's the final waste of all production processes with cleaning percentage about 70% and fiber length average about 5cm.
It's packed in pressed bales of 200kg to be exported to our customers who mainly use it in paper industry and pellets production besides other different eco-friendly applications.
