Tanta Flax offers a wide range of flax carded slivers (tops) to be used in spinning of both %100 linen yarns or mixed with other materials such as wool or polyester in spinning range Nm2:Nm15 depending on the fineness of the flax fibers.
We produce flax slivers in different grades based on fiber micron, cleanness and length as follow;
Long fiber sliver
- It's the best grade of slivers with highest cleanness percentage.
- Its density is up to 30:35gr/m and it spins yarns up to NM15.
- We normally supply it in natural gold color packed in bales of 20kg.
- We can offer it cut in any required length for any other application.
Machine tow sliver
- We offer hackled (machine tow) sliver with lower density 20:25gr/m spinning up to Nm 10.
- We supply our machine tow sliver both natural and bleached (using non-optical bleaching) according to our customers' needs.
