As an heir of this great heritage, Tanta Flax has used to be one of the cornerstones of the Egyptian flax agricultural and industrial sectors since 50 years ago. In the early stages of Tanta Flax business, the main focus was on flax cultivation. Then, after two generations, the opportunity arose to expand this traditional planting business to include scutching & hackling processes and supplying the production to the local market. Now, after about 5 generations, Tanta Flax is proudly one of the biggest Egyptian producers and exporters of flax fibers for various industrial branches such as the spinning sector, the plumbing pipe sealing sector and the composites industry.
